Lawrence "Brandy" Howard, 77, of West Lebanon, died at 8:40 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 21, 1974) at the Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been a patient since Saturday. Born Oct. 9, 1896 in West Lebanon, he was the son of Joseph E. and Marietta Wagner Howard. He was married Dec. 11, 1913, in Williamsport to Jessie Lane, who survives. Mr. Howard was a life resident of West Lebanon and had been a carpenter. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 352. Other survivors include a son, Lowell at home; three daughters, Mrs. Wilma Sellers of Kewanna, IN, Mrs. Juanita Simpson of Lapel and Mrs. Wanda Yates of West Lebanon; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Kite of Williamsport and Mrs. Irene Collins of Lapel; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Fisher Funeral Home. The Rev. Grover Williams Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in West Lebanon on Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday.  --tch
